Improving literacy/Reading Programs for Early Childhood Education.

The training officer and Facilitator of Concerned Heart Foundation Ghana,Mr Wogbe Emmanuel has trained over 300 early childhood teachers in preparation of teaching and learning resources made up from our local materials to enhance effective participation and motivation of learners in the deprived communities schools.
The facilitator has also developed play base activities to arouse the interest of learners through play.
He is currently moving from Schools in deprived communities of Mafi Zongo Circuit to train more early childhood educators.

Massive campaign against teenage pregnancy ,child marriage and Sexual Abuse of Children at Mafi Wudzrolo community.

Massive campaign from church to church to end child marriage, teenage pregnancy and sexual abuse of a Girl Child under 18 years. This project has been funded by Child Marriage Free World from USA.
We created awareness of the negative effects of child marriage and teenage pregnancy on family, community, church and the world as a whole.
The members of Christ Resurrection Power Mission at Mafi Wudzrolo community have pledged to end child marriage and the Rev Pastor of the church has signed on the banner to end child marriage at his church. #END CHILD MARRIAGE NOW#

Global Pledging Week to End Child Marriage

On 4th December, 2024 Concerned Heart Foundation Ghana has team up with Mafi Adiekpe RC Basic School to observe Global Pledging Week to end Child Marriage. The Health Director of Concerned Heart Foundation Ghana, who is also a Midwife of Ghana Health Service Mad Amevi, educated children on Causes of Child Marriage, Effects of Child Marriage on the Child and community as a whole and Preventive Measures to end Child Marriage in our communities. In all Children took pledge to remain Chastity until they are old and gainfully employed before getting married.

Promotion of Girl Child Education

On 28th May, 2023 Concerned Heart Foundation Ghana management raised funds to promote and support Girl Child Education in deprived communities schools. Mafi Zongo and Mafi Adiekpe Basic School benefited from the program in all girls are educated on personal hygiene, reproductive health issues, Chastity and HIV/AID Education. Mentrual pads was given to them to observe menstruational day.

Donation of School Desk

On 18th September, 2023 Concerned Heart Foundation Ghana Executive Director shared the problem of pupils sitting on blocks and locally made place a sister NGO Concern Life Foundation released funds for me to make desk for Mafi Adiekpe RC Basic School.

Supporting Widower.

On 9th September, 2023 Concerned Heart Foundation mobilize fund locally to help and support a single mother with six kids to start life again.

Life Skills

On 24th May, 2024 Concerned Heart Foundation received support and fund from Peace Corps Volunteers to organize life skills training for Mafi Wudzrolo DA Basic School kids. In all students were taught how to make how to make three different kinds of soap.

Supporting Persons with Disability

On December 3rd, 2023 Concerned Heart Foundation, in partnership with CEO of Differently Able Association, mobilized funds to support physically challenged kids in schools and persons with disability. We organize ourselves again to send two deaf and dumb kids to school of deaf Hohoe in the Volta Region. We made the donations to make world Disability day in our district.

Back to School

On November 20th, 2018 the Executive Director of Concerned Heart Foundation shared the problem of school uniform of Mafi Adiekpe RC Primary to a sister NGO, Amadia Foundation and their team visited the school to witness the situations. They later release funds to saw new school uniforms for the kids.

Donation of Exercise Books to Needy Children

Concerned Heart Foundation Ghana successfully donated 1000 exercise books to support needy children in four deprived public schools, Mafi Adiekpe, Mafi Wudzrolo, Mafi Zongo and Mafi Seva respectively. The project aimed of supporting schools in deprived communities is improving quality education and supporting vulnerables children who are at risk of dropping out from school.
